Quality Assurance and Digitalisation Office

Serving as the foundation for all operational activities, the Quality Policy of the Faculty of Teacher Education at the University of Zagreb is aligned with its overarching mission, vision, and international higher education standards. It demonstrates a commitment to fostering high-quality study, scientific, artistic, teaching, and professional work, alongside effective management, signifying the strategic focus of both the Management and all personnel.

The core principles governing the quality assurance system’s establishment manifest through:

The Faculty’s mission, vision, and strategy, alongside the implementation of operational procedures conducive to advancing teaching and research quality, and the enhancement of activities that contribute to societal development in alignment with strategic developmental objectives.
The development and management of the quality assurance system in accordance with the University’s strategic documentation, the legal framework of the Republic of Croatia, the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), and the criteria for external evaluation implemented by the Agency for Science and Higher Education;
The cultivation of a stimulating environment to foster a culture of quality within the Faculty, coupled with sustained efforts toward the improvement and advancement of teaching, scientific research, and professional activities.
The establishment of a framework for monitoring quality enhancement indicators for implementation in decision-making and strategic planning processes.
Close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders within the quality assurance system: students, Faculty personnel, the broader local and national community, the relevant ministry, and national agencies.

The quality assurance system represents a customary function of the Faculty and remains embedded in its routine operations.
