Students with Disabilities

Dear Students,

Should you require academic adjustments (concerning attendance parameters, examination methods, or delivery modes) due to a documented disability, you may initiate the formal application procedure for reasonable accommodations.

To secure institutional adjustments, the following framework applies: comprehensive guidelines detailing the adjustment process, which are ultimately issued to our Faculty by the central university administration, are available on the University of Zagreb’s Office for Students with Disabilities portal. The required application forms for submission are likewise available on the University Office webpage. The Faculty Protocol and the official University links are provided below to clarify the initial steps of the procedure.

The process requires the student to first present their existing medical documentation to a specialist in school and adolescent medicine within the Department of School and University Medicine at the Dr Andrija Štampar Teaching Institute of Public Health.

Upon receipt of the formal adjustment recommendations from the central University Office, the Faculty will issue an institutional Decision detailing the approved operational adjustments, which will subsequently be forwarded to the student.

Upon receipt of this Decision, students must personally contact their respective course lecturers to coordinate the practical implementation of these adjustments and address specific educational requirements within their courses.
