Dear Colleagues,
We are exceptionally pleased to announce the commencement of operations of the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Teacher Education (Almae Matris Alumni Croaticae Facultas Magistri Zagrabiensis, AMAC-UFZG). AMAC-UFZG is a civic non-profit association primarily dedicated to forging and strengthening connections and fostering collaboration between alumni and their alma mater. Furthermore, the Association seeks to cultivate and strengthen cooperation among graduates of the Faculty of Teacher Education, whilst facilitating links between these alumni and domestic and international educational, developmental, and research institutions. In addition to our former students, membership is open to all individuals who wish to formally associate with the Faculty as friends, thereby supporting its operations and development.
Establishing a network of alumni and friends of the Faculty of Teacher Education is of paramount importance for preserving institutional tradition, elevating the Faculty’s reputation, and advancing the prestige of the primary and preschool education professions. Through the exchange of expertise and the concerted professional and academic endeavours of former and current students and other invested individuals, we aim to contribute to the development and enhancement of the Faculty’s activities, bolstering its domestic and international recognition. We also intend for our activities to actively shape public, academic, and professional discourse on all fundamental issues in the disciplines cultivated at the Faculty. To achieve these objectives and facilitate the Association’s integration into the broader nexus of analogous AMAC associations domestically and globally, we invite your participation. By joining AMAC-UFZG as an alumnus or supporter, you become part of a community committed to advancing the teaching profession; therefore, we would be delighted to welcome you as a member at the next Association meeting.
